Where’s the solution? There is already an Armenian Standard: the ArmSCII. You don’t need to understand it but you may use it. How? Making use of ArmSCII compliant fonts, i.e., fonts that have Latin and Armenian symbols distributed between 0 and 255. You simply alternate between the two sets only pressing ALT+SHIFT, without having the trouble to change fonts. You can install these fonts on your browser, mail program, or simply have it in your system (Fonts folder) so you may use it on any program (word processing, database, Excel or Lotus, design soft like CorelDraw, etc.). In addition, you may type the numbers on your NumPad (the numeric little keyboard on your right) and have all of the uppercase in the same place as the lowercase, with Shift. |
